And soon: we are adding a hotel. Why book/stay with us? There are lots of reasons! Our hotel and our hotel portfolio is curated for and by women. As people are realizing now, the big trip review companies don’t always get it right. Because you have no idea whether the person writing the review is ANYTHING like you at all! Their version of awesome might be your version of hell. And we don’t know about you, but we ourselves have only taken the time to write a review when something terrible has gone wrong. At VibeTrek we think we have it little more narrowed down. We’re career-minded, ambitious, thoughtful and perhaps a little more adventurous than average. We care about fashion and design and we tend to choose boutique hotels/villas that are small and unique. We’ve chosen an accommodations portfolio that only includes hotels we think like-minded women--and their SOs!-- will appreciate. Vetted for safety: Every hotel that we represent has passed a very stringent checklist and one of the topmost items is safety. Let’s face it–we’re women, and we’re more vulnerable. We ask ourselves: Do I feel safe when I arrive? Do I feel safe after dark? Does the staff seem like they’re on top of things? Do the doors and windows lock? Is this a safe street in a safe part of town? If we get even a flutter of not feeling safe, that place is off our list. We don’t think twice about it; it’s that important to us. We can also tell you that we do our best to make sure the staff is well-trained and ethically managed. We’ve nixed some gorgeous hotels that were run by jerks. We feel that if the higher-ups are unethical or mean or misogynist, that filters down the chain and eventually our guests are going to experience it. We’re having none of that! We are extraordinarily proud of the people behind the hotels and villas we represent. Selective extras: Who doesn’t like to be treated extra specially? That’s what you will get when you book with us. You’re a VibeTrek girl, and our hotels will be expecting you. They are just as excited to have you stay with them as we are! Each gift is special to the hotel and can range from a chocolate and wine reception or a welcome bottle of champagne to a 45-minute massage or a special dessert created especially for you. Or sometimes, the management will wait to meet you, and then decide: are you more of a private yoga lesson at a lagoon type of woman or would you much rather prefer a local bottle of wine with dinner–pretty special right?
