Our Flood Medical Aid Mission in Hatyai, Thailand is currently underway.

We have been receiving many flood victims suffering from infections, allergic reactions, and wounds caused by prolonged exposure to floodwater.

We are also attending to patients with chronic illnesses who have run out of their medication and require immediate medical attention.

Malaysia will move into new 999 emergency system, called NG999 - Next Generation 999 system. There are few upgrades involving use of technology in managing ambulance resources and caller is now having options of calling 999 via phone or through SaveME999 App from your phone.

You can now also download SaveME999 App via link below.

🌀 Bulan Kesiapsiagaan Nasional 2025 🌀

St. John Ambulance Penang proudly attended the Opening Ceremony of Bulan Kesiapsiagaan Nasional 2025 on 30 October 2025, represented by our Deputy State Commander, Karen Lim.

At the same time, community empowerment is strengthened through the Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) program, public awareness campaigns, and school evacuation drills — all aimed at fostering a society that is aware, resilient, and prepared to face disasters and major incidents. 💪

🩺 🧠 29 Oct - World Stroke Day 2025 – ⏱️ Every Minute Counts! Let's join the world in raising awareness on the importance of recognizing stroke symptoms early and acting fast for better recovery.

St. John Ambulance Penang echo the initiative by bringing the FAST Hero – Stroke Awareness Programme for Kids to 825 students in primary schools across the state, in 10 sessions, including our latest session at SJK (C) Chung Shan, Bayan Lepas. 🌟 Our amazing young FAST Heroes learned how to spot the signs of stroke and take action.

We’re also proud to share that our Ambulance Service Team has once again achieved Platinum Status in the EMS Angels Awards for the third consecutive times 🎖️🎖️🎖️, recognizing our ongoing commitment to excellent prehospital stroke care.

Together, let’s keep spreading awareness and saving lives. ❤️

29 Sept 25 ❤️ Future Heroes ❤️

In conjunction with World Heart Day and driven by the Penang State Government, over 2,200 students came together to learn the life-saving importance of CPR and AED.

These young future heroes gained not only skills but also the confidence to act when every second counts. 💪👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
