Festive lights were bright, families were reunited, and homes were filled with laughter. But beyond the celebrations, emergencies still happened.

During Chinese New Year 2026, Island Branch VAD operated a 24-Hour Ambulance Service from 14/2/26, 7:00am to 20/2/26, 7:00pm, attending a total of 36 cases 🚑

For us, this initiative is more than just a program — it is a responsibility. While the community celebrates, our trained VAD members remain on standby, providing pre-hospital care, stabilising patients, and ensuring safe and timely transport for those in need. Because medical emergencies do not take holidays.

A heartfelt appreciation to every VAD member who stepped forward to be on duty, sacrificing festive time with family to serve the public. Your dedication, resilience, and compassion truly reflect the spirit of volunteer service.

As one mission ends, another begins.
Our 24-Hour Ambulance Service will continue next month for OPS Hari Raya Puasa 2026.

We remain committed. We remain ready. 🚑
