Pantai Hospital Melaka recently collaborated with Qi Yuan Care for an informative health talk on vaccines and mental health for older people.

Our Consultant in Geriatric and Internal Medicine, Dr Tay Hui Sian, shared valuable insights on staying protected from vaccine-preventable diseases and boosting mental health as we age.

Participants also enjoyed free screenings such as bone scan and hair and scalp screenings.

We are proud to announce a new milestone in heart care at Pantai Hospital Melaka! ❤️

Dr Mohd Al-Baqlish B. Mohd Firdaus, our Consultant Cardiologist and Internal Medicine, successfully performed a catheter-directed thrombectomy to remove a severe leg deep vein thrombosis (DVT), restoring smooth blood flow to the patient's leg veins.

This procedure was carried out using the Penumbra Lightning 7 catheter, marking the first use of this advanced technology in Melaka for DVT management.
