New parents often ask: "When should I actually worry about jaundice?"

While mild jaundice is common, there are specific "Red Flags" that indicate you need to screen immediately. Do not delay if you see:

🚩 Early Onset: Jaundice appearing within the first 24 hours of life.
🚩 Severity: Skin turning deep yellow to orange, or jaundice extending to the lower limbs.
🚩 Behavior: Poor feeding, lethargy, or the baby is just not behaving as usual.
