Soalan: Apakah keistimewaan puasa 6 di bulan Syawal?

Ustazah: Bulan Syawal merupakan bulan kemenangan bagi umat Islam setelah sebulan berpuasa di bulan Ramadan. Walaupun Ramadan telah berlalu, semangat untuk beribadah tidak seharusnya terhenti. Sebaliknya, Syawal menjadi medan untuk meneruskan amalan kebaikan, antaranya dengan melaksanakan puasa enam hari yang sangat dituntut dalam Islam. Puasa ini bukan sahaja melambangkan kesinambungan ibadah, bahkan mengandungi pelbagai keistimewaan yang besar.

Antara keistimewaan puasa enam di bulan Syawal ialah:

1. Mendapat ganjaran seperti berpuasa setahun. Puasa enam Syawal memberikan ganjaran yang sangat besar, iaitu seolah-olah berpuasa sepanjang tahun. Hal ini kerana setiap amalan kebaikan digandakan sepuluh kali ganda.
2. Menampung kekurangan puasa Ramadan. Setiap ibadah yang dilakukan tidak lari daripada kekurangan. Oleh itu, puasa sunat ini berfungsi sebagai pelengkap kepada puasa wajib yang mungkin terdapat kekurangan dari segi amalan atau keikhlasan.
3. Tanda amalan Ramadan diterima. Para ulama menyatakan bahawa antara tanda sesuatu amalan itu diterima ialah apabila seseorang itu terus melakukan kebaikan selepasnya. Puasa enam menjadi bukti kesinambungan tersebut.
4. Melatih diri untuk istiqamah. Puasa ini mendidik jiwa supaya terus konsisten dalam beribadah dan tidak hanya bersemangat pada bulan Ramadan sahaja.
5. Peluang meraih ganjaran syurga. Golongan yang rajin berpuasa dijanjikan keistimewaan untuk memasuki syurga melalui pintu khas iaitu Ar-Rayyan, sebagai penghormatan kepada mereka.

Kesimpulannya, puasa enam di bulan Syawal bukan sekadar amalan tambahan, tetapi satu peluang besar untuk meningkatkan pahala dan mendekatkan diri kepada Allah. Justeru, janganlah kita melepaskan peluang yang hanya datang setahun sekali ini, sebaliknya manfaatkan ia sebagai bukti bahawa didikan Ramadan terus hidup dalam diri kita.
