WHAT IS LIGHT SENSITIVITY ?
Light sensitivity, also known as photophobia, is a condition of intolerance to light, and could result in visual discomfort when adapting to certain light conditions. Depending on severity, light sensitivity may resupt in nausea, headaches and more.
LIGHT CONDITIONS THAT CAN RESULT IN VISUAL DISCOMFORT INCLUDE :
• Bright sunlight
• Stray and distracting light from reflective surfaces such as wet roads or car windshields
• Light reflection from water surfaces
• Artificial light sources (e.g. fluorescent or incandescent lights)
