角膜塑型(ORTHO-K)

角膜塑型，又称OK Lens，英文全名为Orthokeratology 也被称为『矫正角膜的科学方法』，是一种特殊设计高透氧之硬式隐形眼镜，晚上睡眠配戴时，以渐进方式温和改变角膜表面形狀，除了可控制近视加深，白天起床后将塑型镜片移除，仍能保有清晰视力，是一种安全、简单、有效，且非侵入性的治疗方式，若长时间未配戴，角膜将回复至原來的形狀，具有可逆性。

角膜塑型镜片起源于美国，美国获得FDA核准使用，青少年及儿童为角膜塑型镜片的最大使用族群，主要目的为控制儿童近视加深的速度。根据研究显示，与配戴眼镜者相比，角膜塑型镜片使用者眼轴长度及玻璃体腔深度增加的速度在兩年后明显地较少，约为配戴眼镜者的一半。近年來近视发生的年龄有越来越年轻化的趋势，度数也随学童发育年年增加，要到大學以後近視才會趋缓，高度近视的比例年年增加，而高度近视可能造成許多併发症，如视网膜剥离、黄斑部病变、青光眼、白內障等。

角膜塑型镜片內缘具有多弧设计，夜晚睡觉时配戴6-8小時，利用角膜的可塑性，温和加压改变角膜弧度，使中央部分趋於平坦，接近正常视力的弧度，进而矫正近视，避免角膜往高度近视变形，让白天時不用戴眼镜也能拥有清晰视力。
