殡葬习俗之《合炉入祖》
《合炉》代表逝者的魂魄正式迁入祖先牌位，成为受阳世子孙祭拜的「祖先」。 在「合炉」这一天，家眷子孙会全员到齐，准备各式各样的供品。 过程中主持科仪的道长或出家师父会先带大家禀告神明与祖先，再将逝者的魂魄从个人魂帛牌位引导到祖先神主牌位，再从逝者的香炉中取一小撮香灰和香脚放入祖先炉，象征逝者正式迁居，升格成为家神 - 祖先神主。

一般在逝者离开后「对年」当天或之后才会进行「合炉」的仪式，也有人按传统习俗是三年后才进行「合炉」。
