Lam Wah Ee Hospital is a 700 bedded tertiary acute care hospital located at Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim, Penang, Malaysia. This not-for-profit private hospital is accredited by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health. The Hospital started as a provider of traditional Chinese Medicine treatment in 1883 while the Western Medicine division commenced operations in 1983. OBJECTIVES : The Hospital shall be an independent, charitable and non-profit organisation. i ) To render medical services to the general public irrespective of race or religion. ii ) To render free medical treatment to destitute patients. iii) To sponsor and undertake research, teaching and training of medical personnel. iv ) To establish, maintain and administer any charitable organisation or association whose objects are totally or partially relevant to those of the Hospital.
