What is Prenatal & Postnatal Physiotherapy Assessment?

Pregnancy and childbirth bring many changes to a woman’s body. A physiotherapy assessment helps support women through every stage — from pregnancy to postpartum recovery. 🤍

Common conditions we check:
• Pelvic girdle pain
• Lower back pain / sciatica
• P***c symphysis pain
• Diastasis recti (abdominal separation)
• Urinary leakage
• C-section or perineal recovery

When is the best time?
• During pregnancy (2nd trimester is ideal)
• After delivery:
– 4–6 weeks (vaginal delivery)
– 6–8 weeks (C-section)

What do we assess?
✔ Posture & movement
✔ Core and abdominal recovery
✔ Pelvic floor function
✔ Pelvic joint stability
✔ Breathing and functional activities

Supporting women through every phase — pregnancy, delivery, and recovery — so they can move, heal, and feel stronger. 🌸

Pelvic pain is common… but it’s NOT always the same.

In this video, understand 3 common types of pelvic pain.

1️⃣ P***c Pain (耻骨疼痛)
Pain at the front of the pelvis.
Walking, turning in bed, or standing on one leg can be painful.

2️⃣ Sacroiliac Joint Pain (骶髂关节疼痛)
Pain at the lower back or buttock area, usually one side.
Often worse with prolonged standing or climbing stairs.

Pain that travels from the lower back down the leg, sometimes with numbness or tingling.

⚠️ Watch out for these symptoms:
• Persistent pain
• Leg weakness
• Difficulty walking

Join us in March
Calling for postnatal mothers

*Calling mums who:*

- still get back pain from carrying their baby.
- still feel strained or uneven when babywearing 🎒
- still leak sometimes and don’t talk about it.
- still feel unsure before lifting something heavy.
- still wonder if they’re “doing it right.”

If you’re months — even years — after birth
and your body still doesn’t feel steady…

This is for you 🤍

Not to push harder.
Not to rush.
But to finally understand how to rebuild properly.

You deserve to feel confident in your own body again 💛

This small game taught us something big. When we were stuck in the human knot, no one blamed personality. We communicated. We adjusted. We worked together. Conflict isn’t about who you are. It’s about how you respond. Grateful to Ms Khoo for organising such a meaningful Noesis and for sharing this powerful reminder with us 🤍

WE ARE BACK

We had been gained our experience about 10 years working in Singapore and been through specialised training.

We moved back to Penang because of there is still a need for people to understand how Physiotherapy can help.

We hope to share our knowledge and able to help with local community.
