I initiated a meeting with the CEO of Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang to raise several water-related issues affecting residents, and immediate follow-up actions have been arranged following our discussion.

I would like to record my appreciation to Dato’ IR Pathmanathan and the PBAPP team for their responsiveness and commitment in addressing these matters.

We have also received positive updates regarding upcoming water pipe replacement works in Seri Delima. Further details will be shared once finalised.

Ensuring a reliable water supply remains a priority, and I will continue to monitor progress closely.

日前，我与槟州供水机构（PBAPP）首席执行员会面，反映多项影响居民的水供问题。会后，相关单位已迅速展开跟进行动。

在此也感谢拿督巴玛纳登及PBAPP团队的积极回应与配合，一起推动解决问题。

同时，我们也收到有关斯里德里玛即将展开水管更换工程的正面进展。后续进展我会持续跟进，也会再向大家说明。

稳定、可靠的水供对社区非常重要，我也会继续密切关注，确保工程顺利落实。

Last weekend, Pusat Khidmat ADUN Seri Delima collaborated with Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni untuk Keamanan Sejagat (PNM), Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN), and MPKK Island Glades to organise a Jom Santai & Sihat programme for the community.

This programme is something we truly believe in, to build a healthier community through awareness and early action. Prevention is always better than cure, and that’s why we continue working closely with different agencies and community groups to bring health screenings closer to our residents.

This round was a little different with the presence of a Klinik Bergerak by LPPKN. I was genuinely impressed by how well-equipped and comfortable the bus was. It made services like general health checks and women’s health screenings, including mammograms, much more accessible — especially for those who may not usually go for regular check-ups.

Sometimes, it’s these small steps that matter most. A simple screening can make a big difference, and early detection can truly save lives.

Thank you to LPPKN, Persatuan Nilai Murni, MPKK Island Glades, Healthy Workout, and everyone involved in making this programme a success. Your effort and care made it possible for us to reach more residents and encourage healthier habits together! 💪

𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚 🏋🏻‍♀️🧗‍♀️

I recently visited five exercise groups across Seri Delima — Xiang Gong Qi Gong, Shen Xin Qi Gong, You Hao Tai Ji, Happy Taiji Qi Gong, and the Island Glades Dancing Group — while distributing our Our Journey Report Card to residents.

Seri Delima has over 20 exercise groups, and they are truly important pillars of our community. I’ve always believed that a healthy community starts with healthy habits, and I’m happy to see so many residents showing up and staying active together.

We’re also fortunate to have many green spaces within our neighbourhood. For most residents, a garden is just a short 10-minute walk away, making it easier for people of all ages to stay active and connected to their surroundings.

Walkabouts like this are always meaningful. It’s a chance to meet residents, hear their feedback, and see what else we can improve on the ground.

Some residents also asked about the progress of ongoing projects in Seri Delima, and I was glad to share updates with them on the spot. Not everyone comes to the service centre, so being out like this allows me to reach more residents, have real conversations, and keep them updated directly.

Step by step, we keep building a stronger and more connected Seri Delima ❤️

我走访了槟岛斯里德里玛的五个运动团体 —— 祥功气功、身心气功、友好太极、开心太极气功，以及 爱莲玉舞蹈群，并向居民派发我们的《并肩同行》成绩报告书。

斯里德里玛有超过20个运动团体，她们一直是社区里非常重要的支柱。我一直相信，一个健康的社区，源自健康的生活习惯，很开心看到这么多居民持续参与运动，一起保持活力。

斯里德里玛也很幸运，因为社区里拥有许多绿地空间。对大部分居民来说，走出家门大约10分钟，就能到达一个小花园，让各年龄层的居民都更容易运动，也更容易和社区连结在一起。

这样的走访总是很有意义。不只是了解居民的日常，也能面对面聆听他们的反馈，看看还有哪些地方可以做得更好。

过程中，也有居民询问斯里德里玛一些正在进行的工程进展，我也当场和他们分享了最新情况。毕竟不是每个人都会来到服务中心，所以走进社区，才能接触更多居民，进行更直接的交流与更新。

一步一步，我们一起打造一个更强、更有连结感的斯里德里玛 ❤️

【卷起袖子，让一个家重新有了温度】

早前我们接获居民反映，Greenlane Heights一间屋子住着一位年迈长者、一名中年人，以及一位年仅10岁的小孙女。由于中年人不久前入院，当MPKK前往探访时，眼前的情况令人心酸，屋内堆满杂物，生活空间被一点一点挤压，连最基本的起居都变得困难。

在多方协调下，MPKK Greenlane Heights与槟州珍珠志工团花了一整天的时间，一起动手清理。从一件件搬走杂物，到一点点恢复空间的样貌，原本凌乱拥挤的环境，终于慢慢变成一个干净、可以安心生活的“家”。

这不仅仅是一场清理行动，更是一份对人的关怀与尊严的守护。对那位长者、那户人家，尤其是那位小女孩来说，这不只是空间的改变，而是生活重新开始的可能，一个更安全、更宜居、更有希望的环境。

特别想对管委会及志工们说一声谢谢。
这其实早已超越了你们的分内之事，但你们依然选择卷起袖子，为弱势群体付出时间与汗水。那份不计回报的善意，真的让我非常感动。

也正因为你们的付出，让一个原本被杂物困住的空间，重新有了温度、有了秩序，更重要的是，
重新有了“家”的感觉。

谢谢你们，让这个社区多了一点光。🙏

Earlier, we received a report about a unit in Greenlane Heights where an elderly person, a middle-aged family member, and a 10-year-old granddaughter are staying together. As the middle-aged family member was recently hospitalised, when the MPKK visited, the situation was quite heartbreaking. The house was filled with clutter, and the space had slowly become so cramped that even basic daily living was difficult.

With some coordination, MPKK Greenlane Heights and the Sukarelawan Mutiara Seri Delima Team spent a full day clearing the unit together. Bit by bit, as items were moved out and space was opened up, what was once a crowded and overwhelming environment slowly became a clean and livable home again.

This wasn’t just about cleaning. It was about care and dignity. For the elderly resident, the family, and especially the young girl, this wasn’t just a change in space. It’s a chance to start over in a safer, more comfortable, and more hopeful environment.

A special thank you to the management committee and all the volunteers.

What you did goes beyond what is expected, but you still chose to step in and help. The time and effort you gave, without asking for anything in return, truly means a lot.

Thank you for bringing a little more light into our community. 🙏

Dunia digital hari ini amat penting, namun keselamatan dan kesedaran mesti seiring berjalan.

Baru-baru ini, saya telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada pasukan Suruhanjaya Komunikasi Dan Multimedia Penang (MCMC), dan mengadakan perbincangan yang bermakna bersama Tn Pengarah En. Fitri, En Rashdi serta Puan Liyana.

Pihak MCMC memaklumkan bahawa MCMC Pulau Pinang telah mencatat hampir 2,000 aduan pada tahun lepas , berkaitan penipuan dalam talian dan berita palsu, satu angka yang menunjukkan betapa pentingnya usaha memperkukuh kesedaran serta daya tahan komuniti dalam menghadapi cabaran digital ini.

Pada masa yang sama, semakin banyak penipuan berleluasa di media sosial hari ini, dan saya sendiri turut pernah menjadi sasaran. Ada pihak tidak bertanggungjawab yang menggunakan nama serta identiti saya untuk mewujudkan akaun palsu bagi tujuan penipuan. 😠

Dalam perbincangan ini juga, kami menyentuh mengenai Kempen Internet Selamat, satu inisiatif untuk mendidik dan memperkasakan masyarakat agar lebih berwaspada serta bijak ketika menggunakan ruang digital, khususnya dalam menangani isu penipuan dan berita palsu.

MCMC turut memperkenalkan aplikasi MCMC Nexus, yang membolehkan orang ramai membuat ujian kelajuan internet. Sebagai panduan, kelajuan di bawah 10Mbps boleh dilaporkan untuk tindakan lanjut.

Saya berharap dapat terus bekerjasama rapat dengan pihak MCMC dalam memperkukuh kesedaran digital di Seri Delima dan seluruh Pulau Pinang. Internet yang lebih selamat bermula dengan kita semua. 🤝

This Friday (24/4), we will be carrying out ‘𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺’ 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘥 distribution walkabout and also meeting our exercise group in the community.

This effort is to share the journey we have been going through together over time, to reflect on the progress we’ve made alongside our residents. It is also a way for us to stay connected, listen more closely, and continue building stronger relationships with everyone we serve.
