🧧斯里德里玛新春团拜 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞🍊🐎
农历初十一，我们一起迎来了斯里德里玛一年一度的新春团拜。在每一个重要佳节与居民相聚，已经成为斯里德里玛多年来坚持的传统。
现场超过1000人出席我们的新春团拜，现场非常热闹。能够见到这么多熟悉的面孔，真的很开心。
身为州议员，让选民知道我们的工作进展是非常重要的，而每一次见面，都是我向大家汇报这一年来与近期的选区情况、分享斯里德里玛最新改变的最好机会，也让我更了解大家的心声。
今年，是特别的一年。
由于农历新年跟斋戒月撞在一起，我们也特别与穆斯林朋友一同开斋享用美食。这不仅是节庆的交汇，更是多元文化的融合与尊重。
此外，这个马年，斯里德里玛以及国州政府，都为大家准备了不少新年礼物：
✅ 为低收入家庭提供巴刹购物券，以带动社区经济
✅ 超过1000盏新春灯笼高挂在斯里德里玛，让社区更添年味
✅ 以居民故事为灵感创作的新年歌《回家咯》，希望游子们常回家看看父母，也希望在外的子女能回槟城发展
✅ 选区成绩报告册，让选民更清楚了解我为斯里德里玛所做的努力与成果
✅ 槟州政府的 iSejahtera 援助金
✅ 中央政府发放的 SARA 100令吉援助金
这不仅是庆祝，更是把政策与温度带进社区。
我也特别感谢居民们一直以来的支持与关心。还记得几个月前，我的脚受伤时，收到了很多慰问与叮嘱，有居民还特地送药、提醒我要好好休养。这份温暖，我一直记在心里 ❤️
新的一年，我的办公室也调整了服务时间，希望可以更好地服务选民。

当烟花在夜空中绽放，五彩光芒照亮了整个斯里德里玛，也为新春团拜画下最灿烂的句点。这一刻，不只是庆祝，更象征着我们共同迎向幸福与繁荣的新篇章。

On the eleventh day of Chinese New Year, we gathered once again for our annual Seri Delima CNY Open House. Celebrating every major festive season together with residents has long been a meaningful tradition in our community, and this year was no different.
More than 1,000 residents joined us, filling the space with laughter, conversations and festive cheer. Seeing so many familiar faces reminds me why these gatherings matter. They are not just celebrations, but moments to reconnect.
As your State Assemblyman, it is important that you know what we have been working on. Every program gives me the opportunity to share updates on the progress in Seri Delima, talk about recent improvements in our constituency, and most importantly, listen to your thoughts and concerns directly.
This year felt especially meaningful.
With Chinese New Year coinciding with Ramadhan, we also took the opportunity to break fast together with our Muslim friends. It was a simple but beautiful reflection of who we are in Seri Delima – a community built on mutual respect, understanding and shared celebrations.
In conjunction with the Year of the Horse, both our constituency and the state and federal governments brought a number of initiatives to the ground:
✅ CNY Market vouchers for lower income families to ease daily expenses while supporting local traders
✅ Over 1,000 festive lanterns lighting up Seri Delima, adding warmth and colour to our neighbourhoods
✅ A special CNY song titled “Dui Chu Lo”, inspired by residents’ stories, encouraging our children working away from home to return more often – and hopefully to build their future here in Penang
✅ A constituency report booklet so residents can clearly see the work and progress achieved over the past year
✅ The Penang State Government’s iSejahtera assistance
✅ The Federal Government’s SARA RM100 aid
For me, this celebration is not just about food and festivities. It is about bringing policies closer to the people and making sure assistance reaches those who need it.
I am also deeply grateful for the care and support you have shown me. When I injured my foot a few months ago, many of you sent messages, reminders and even medicine. That kindness meant more than you know.
As we step into the new year, my service centre has also adjusted its operating hours so we can serve you better.
My sincere appreciation to MPKK Island Glades for their dedicated organising efforts, and to every single resident who came and made the evening so lively.
As fireworks lit up the night sky, their colours reflected across Seri Delima – a beautiful ending to the celebration, and a hopeful beginning for the year ahead.
Wishing everyone a prosperous and joyful Year of the Horse. May it be a year of good health, happiness and progress for us all 🧧🐎
