𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦 水培农场开幕🥬🥗🐠
Last Saturday marked a special moment for Island Park and the wider community with the opening of the aquaponic farm at the Japanese Garden!
Japanese Garden has always been a place where people come to relax and enjoy the surroundings. With the addition of the aquaponic garden, this space now carries even more meaning, blending nature, learning, and sustainability together.
Aquaponic farming is a simple and smart system where fish and vegetables grow together. The fish provide natural nutrients for the plants, while the plants help keep the water clean for the fish. This method uses less water, no soil, and very little chemicals, making it healthier for people and kinder to the environment.
This aquaponic garden is managed by MPKK Island Park, with funding support of RM100,000 from the Sejahtera Komuniti Madani (SejaTi Madani) programme. This support has empowered the local community to take the lead and turn an idea into reality.
What makes this project truly meaningful is the effort behind it. From a once empty space, MPKK Island Park has transformed the area into a green and productive garden. Today, more than 66 types of vegetables are being grown here. This did not happen overnight. A lot of time, effort, and daily care have gone into making sure the garden grows well and stays healthy.
More than just a garden, this project reflects what a community can achieve when people care, work together, and believe in a shared future. It may be a small space, but it carries a big impact and marks a proud step forward for Island Park.
Residents are warmly welcomed to visit the aquaponic garden, learn about the project, and purchase fresh produce directly, supporting this meaningful community effort!
上个周末，爱莲园日本花园水培农场正式开幕！
日本花园一直是大家休闲放松的好地方，现在有了水培农场，居民也能更亲近大自然、学习环保知识。
这个水培农场是由MPKK Island Park管理，他们获得了Sejahtera Komuniti Madani（SejaTi Madani）计划提供的10万令吉资助，让他们有机会自己动手，把一个想法变为现实。
水培种植很有趣也很简单，鱼和蔬菜在同一个系统里互相帮助，鱼的排泄物成为植物养分，植物也帮忙净化水。这样不仅节约用水，不用土壤，也几乎不用化学药剂，更健康、更环保。
这个农场不仅是种菜的地方，更是社区齐心协力、共同努力的成果。虽然不大，但意义重大，也是 Island Park 的骄傲！
