Setiap malam sebelum ini, saya turun ke setiap pusat MPKK untuk mengadakan perjumpaan bersama mereka.

Saya mengambil kesempatan ini untuk berkongsi perkembangan semasa, memahami dengan lebih mendalam isu-isu di setiap komuniti, serta memberikan sedikit panduan dan hala tuju agar organisasi kita dapat bergerak dengan lebih aktif dan bersatu.

MPKK adalah barisan hadapan di kawasan, dan peranan ini amat penting dalam membina hubungan serta kepercayaan dengan penduduk, supaya kita dapat berkhidmat dengan lebih baik.

Saya menghadiri Majlis Ramah Mesra Koperasi Sungai Gelugor 2026.

Ini merupakan kali pertama saya menghadiri program bersama koperasi, dan saya benar-benar menghargai peranan mereka yang selama ini banyak membantu dalam menjaga kebajikan serta keharmonian kawasan Sungai Gelugor.

Apa yang paling saya hargai adalah peluang untuk berjumpa dan beramah mesra dengan para penduduk dalam suasana yang santai dan penuh kemesraan.

𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲🎶☕️

I attended the Memory Café Together in Song programme organised by JPWK Seri Delima.

This is a truly meaningful initiative that creates a safe and welcoming space for people living with dementia, as well as caregivers to connect through music, learn to sing, make friends, and stay socially engaged.

Penang is one of the states with a growing ageing population, and in Seri Delima, we are home to many seniors. Taking care of their wellbeing, both physically and emotionally, is something I deeply care about. Programmes like this may seem simple, but they bring comfort, companionship, and joy to those who need it most.

I have always believed in the power of music. It brings people together, lifts spirits, and heals in ways words sometimes cannot.

Last year, we organised Rhythm in the Garden, bringing live music into the community, and I was also part of the performance. This year, I also wrote a Chinese New Year song titled Dui Chu Lo, to encourage those who have moved away to return to Penang, not only to celebrate festive seasons, but also to build their lives here.

In different ways, these efforts reflect my hope of using music as a bridge to bring people closer and strengthen our community spirit.

My heartfelt thanks to JPWK Seri Delima, Adele Academy, Seniors Inspiring Through Involvement (SITI) Network, Penang Dementia Assosciation, Raffles Evergreen, and all participants for making this session so meaningful.

I hope everyone truly enjoyed the session 🥰
