Lesson: Good Deeds

Activity: Today, students chose their own good deeds stickers and pasted them on the Good Deeds Tree in their books. 🌳✨ Each student selected the good deeds they wanted to practice, then carefully placed the stickers on their tree.

🍭Children made an igloo using art materials. During the activity, they practiced cutting and painting, which helped to develop their creativity and fine motor skills. This activity also helped children improve their hand-eye coordination and focus.

At the end of the lesson, children were able to rote count from 1–50 and recognize numbers up to 100, as well as practice counting by 2. They also learned about Prophet Sulaiman (AS) and understood the value of being grateful to Allah for His blessings. In addition, children successfully memorized and recited Surah Al-Qoriah verses 1–3 with guidance from the teacher.

✨🕌 Marhaban Ya Ramadhan 🌙✨

Blessing of Laylat-al-Qadr

Laylat-al-Qadr is the prized jewel of Ramadan. This night carries more blessings than a thousand months. Muslims spend this night in prayer and meditation, making dua and seeking forgiveness for past sins. There is salvation in this night, a chance to be cleansed of all sins and re-born as a righteous Muslim.

Allah (SWT) has granted special virtue to this month by placing Laylat-al-Qadr within it.

“Indeed, it is We Who sent this Quran down on the Night of Qadr. And what will make you realise what the Night of Qadr is? The Night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh [Jibreel] by Allah’s Permission with all Decrees, there is peace until the appearance of dawn."

[Al-Qadar 97:1-5]
