Firecracker debris, including hot ash, metal shards, and chemical residue, poses severe risks to eye health, ranging from temporary irritation and corneal abrasions to permanent blindness.
Please take the following safety measures:
(1) Always wear safety glasses or goggles to protect your eyes from sparks and flying particles, particularly in children.
(2) Stay at least 500 feet away ( the farther, the better)
(3) Never attempt to re-light a firework that fails to go off
(4) Supervise Children
(5) Light in open areas
烟花爆炸产生的金属碎屑、火药颗粒和高温烟灰可导致角膜裂伤、眼球破裂、甚至永久性失明。
请采取以下的安全措施：
(1) 佩戴防护眼镜
(2) 保持安全距离
(3) 点燃后若未燃爆，千万不要立即上前查看。必须在安全距离外等待至少15分钟，防止烟花延迟引爆。

澳大利亚研究人员在《Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology》杂志上发表报告，指出40例因纹身引起的罕见眼部炎症——“纹身相关性葡萄膜炎”病例。这些病例多为慢性炎症，表现为视力下降、疼痛，若不治疗可导致永久性视力丧失或青光眼，且多与黑色墨水有关。
专家警告，即使是早期的纹身也可能导致长期的眼部损害，建议纹身爱好者关注此类风险。
