Childhood obesity in Malaysia is now a public health crisis!!
More and more children and youth are getting diabetes, hypertension, high cholestrol, fatty liver, etc which were previously only seen in adults 😮

There's a call for more coordinated effort to address weight issues faced by our young Malaysians now to avoid serious risks of heart problems, strokes, etc when they are older.

The seminar hall at our office in Greentown Square in Ipoh is available for bookings for talks, seminars, trainings, workshops, etc.

Fully equipped with tables, chairs, LED projector and screen, with AV system and cordless mics, the air-conditioned hall has a capacity of 40 pax theatre style and 25 pax classroom style.

Aid for more flood victims.. ❤️
After reading the Bernama online report of 18/02/26, on the appeal for aid of a care cente in Buntong, Perak, that was badly damaged by the recent floods, our Family Wellness Club today donated groceries, toiletries and clothes to the care centre which is run by the Sri Annapurani Temple.

There are 25 residents being looked after by Mdm Gayathri, a staff member of the Temple, with the help of some volunteers. Currently there are 9 elderly residents and 15 children there, most of whom have been abandoned by their families.

We were warmly greeted by Mdm Gayathri and her helpers. And the cheerful children were very happy to see us with all the goodies 😀❤️

Our member, Dr.Satnam Kaur, who is a consultant psychiatrist, sat down with some of the residents who had gone through trauma, talked to them and gave them some psychosocial support 👍👏👏❤️

When we were about to leave, the children came up to us and gave us a 'Hi-5' and thanked us ❤️❤️❤️

During this CNY holidays, some areas in Ipoh, including parts of Buntong were flooded due to the heavy rain, strong winds and thunderstorms that ripped off roofs of houses and swept off people's belongings 😥
This morning, our Family Wellness Club members responded to the appeal from the Buntong ADUN's service centre and donated items for the flood victims.
Hopefully, the worst is over..
