The SOA would like to remind the public to have eye examination once a year. There is no minimum age for visual screening in children to detect refractive errors and binocular anomalies.
High myopes (those with significant shortsightedness) should have their eyes checked regularly to ensure eye health and allow for early detection of potential issues.
Start early, but remember, it's never too late to take action for myopia management to slow down eyeball elongation.
