Emergency pills ≠ oral contraceptive pills! 🚨💊
Emergency pills are only for emergency use (i.e. if you forgot to take your daily oral contraceptive pill or condom broke).
Although an emergency pill is only taken occasionally, it has a higher dosage of hormones, which may disrupt your period cycle.
It is recommended to consider an oral contraceptive pill instead of relying on an emergency pill.
Always consult a healthcare professional of each contraception method before you start on any!
