After finishing his government compulsory service, he migrated to Johor Bahru where he joined Private Dental Surgery as an full time associate where he worked for another 8 years, refining his skills in general dentistry especially in the discipline of endodontics and prosthodontics. He passed his membership exam for Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2010 (MFDS RCS Edin) He completed his basic orthodontic training and advanced orthodontic training both with Progressive Orthodontic Seminar in 2012 and 2014 respectively. As an enthusiast in orthodontic treatment, he has joined the International Association for Orthodontics since 2013 and has obtained his fellowship in the International College of Continuing Dental Education (FICCDE) in 2015. Although capable in many disciplines in dentistry, Dr. Tan’s real passion is in implant surgery and restoration. He is currently doing his part time Master in Science in Implantology training with the prestigious Goethe University in Frankfurt, training with some of the best implant surgeons and prosthodontists in Europe. He is also currently one of the instructors for NeoBiotech Implant System and is doing part time teaching with the company as well. As a core member of The Global Academy of Osseointegration (GAO), he is also involved in implant education, helping establish a unified surgical concept, protocol and product guidelines for NeoBiotech implant products. He is also a member of International Team for Implantology (ITI) where he continues to pursue more knowledge and training in the respected field Dental Officer Dr. Tan Yuan Yang DDS (UKM), CERT Implantology (UITM) Dr Tan Yuan Yang obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the National University of Malaysia on 2010. He had passed his certificate in implantology in UITM since 2013. He had completed 5 years service with Ministry of Health Malaysia before he joined Alpha Dental Surgery. Dental Officer Dr. Loh Yee Teng BDS (Malaya) Dr. Loh Yee Teng graduated from University of Malaya (UM) in 2016. Upon graduation she joined the Government Service and has worked in various government clinics in Segamat and Johor Bahru. She is constantly pursuing professional dental knowledge and skills by actively involving in continuing professional education activities. In 2018 September, Dr Loh volunteer herself in offering dental services to residents of Pokhara, Nepal.
