About the Company

The company started off as a sole proprietor in year 1977 and was incorporated on 5th December 1981 in Malaysia as a Private Limited Company under the Companies Act 1965 under the name United Kotak Sdn. Bhd. The company converted to a Public Limited Company on 28th November 2000 and since assumed its present name.

In year 2002, United Kotak Berhad (UKB) was proudly listed on KLSE 2nd board and has been certified to ISO 9001 by 26th September 2002 and ISO 14001 by 1st November 2005. However, after being fully acquired Oji Paper Asia Sdn. Bhd. in January 2011, UKB has been delisted from KLSE 2nd board and became a part of Oji Asia Packaging.

UKB is principally involved in the manufacturing and sale of corrugated cartons and boards. These products are widely used in the manufacturing sector, especially the electronics sector, as well as food and beverages, and to***co sub sectors for the purpose of industrial packaging or final consumer goods packaging.

Today, UKB has established the business to become one of the most successful corrugated cartons and boards manufacturers in Malaysia’s southern region. A significant portion of UKB’s products are sold locally and our customer base includes both local and multinational companies.
