Inaugural Clinical Airway Skill Training in Emergency Room (castER)

Gleneagles Hospital Johor, in collaboration with IHH Healthcare Malaysia, proudly hosted the first castER in Malaysia, gathering doctors from 16 private and government hospitals across the Southern Region, including Melaka, Kluang, and Batu Pahat.

The two-day training brought together doctors from Emergency and Anaesthesia departments for a hands-on, multidisciplinary learning experience. Guided by anaesthetists, emergency physicians, and critical care specialists, participants refined their airway management skills through eight interactive skill stations covering trauma, paediatric, and awake intubation scenarios.

This collaborative initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening patient care and advancing emergency response excellence through continuous medical education.
