My son wears glasses for Myopia Management. He was wearing a standard lens when a classmate's fist accidentally connected with his face during a school activity. How does a Multifocal/Progressive/Progressive Addition Lens/PAL looks like.

The Upper Part is for Distance, the Bottom is for Reading.
the sway at the 2sides of the bottom of the lenses can't be avoid due to the compression of at least 3 powers in this lens.

so how does the lens designer make the sway/distortion as flat as possible, impact the price of the PAL.
