A meaningful milestone for us here at Sungai Long Specialist Hospital — the successful completion of our very first robotic-assisted Total Knee Replacement (TKR).

This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible teamwork behind the scenes.

To our operating theatre team, thank you for your seamless coordination, meticulous preparation, and calm support throughout the procedure. And to the amazing team from Smith & Nephew, your guidance and technical expertise made all the difference.

Most importantly, my heartfelt thanks to our patient for placing her trust in us. It is always a privilege to be part of your journey towards better mobility and quality of life.

Grateful for the opportunity to be part of this step forward — and for the people who made it possible. 🙏🏻

Some casts hold bones… this one held my heart. 🥹

In the middle of her recovery, my little patient decided to make her cast a little more “personal”… she wrote my name on it—and even drew a tiny little version of my face.

No big moment, no special occasion… just pure innocence and a gesture that meant everything.

It reminded me that healing isn’t just about bones coming together…
it’s about trust, comfort, and the little connections we build along the way. 🤍

To my little patient—thank you for letting me be part of your journey, and for carrying my name (and my tiny face 😄) with you as you heal. You’ve left a much bigger mark on me.

“Sometimes, the smallest gestures leave the deepest impact.” ✨

A small gesture, but one that means so much to us 🤍

We are truly touched by this thoughtful gift and even more grateful for the trust you have placed in us throughout your journey. Being part of your care is a privilege we never take for granted. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do — it’s always about the people, the stories, and the connections we build along the way.

Thank you for allowing us to walk this journey with you. Your kindness and trust mean everything to our team 💫

“Trust is the highest form of human motivation. It brings out the very best in people.”

Knee pain… but you’re still young?”

Many people think knee pain only happens with age.
But the truth is, the cause of knee pain often depends on your stage of life.

In younger adults, it’s usually related to sports, overuse, or sudden strain.
In older adults, it’s more commonly due to wear and tear of the joint over time.

Different age, different reason — but the same message:
Don’t ignore persistent knee pain.

Physiotherapy doesn’t need to pause just because you’re fasting 🌙

Ramadan is about balance — including your recovery. With small adjustments in timing and intensity, you can stay on track safely without slowing your progress. Modify wisely, don’t cancel. 💪

Selamat menunaikan ibadah puasa. Semoga Ramadan ini membawa keberkatan, kesihatan yang baik dan ketenangan buat anda dan keluarga.

Chinese New Year is a time to enjoy good food and great company. 🧧
Remember to eat moderately, limit sugary treats, stay hydrated, and move around between meals.

Most importantly, do not fall this festive season.
Watch your steps, avoid slippery floors, and take your time—especially when carrying things or visiting crowded homes.

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Chinese New Year. 🎉

As Chinese New Year is nearing 🧧, many of us are starting our yearly spring cleaning to welcome a fresh new year.

While clearing, lifting, and reorganising the house, this is a gentle reminder to stay safe — especially for our elderly family members 👵👴

Take your time, avoid rushing, and be mindful when bending, reaching, or carrying heavy items.

Most importantly, don’t be afraid to ask for help 🤝
Your safety is the best way to welcome the New Year ✨
