Smart Minda telah dijemput oleh Yayasan Bimbingan Insan Murni bagi mengadakan aktiviti Art Therapy anak-anak bersama Ibubapa.

Program yang dianjurkan bertajuk “Kesihatan Keluarga, Minda Cergas” menitik beratkan peluang merapatkan lagi hubungan anak-anak bersama ibubapa.

Dalam pada sama, pihak kami berkongsi pengalaman dan mendidik komuniti tentang “Apa itu Autism?” dan 3 Langkah perlu dibuat apabila berjumpa dengan anak Autisme sebagai jiran yang prihatin.

Terima kasih pihak yayasan kerana memberi peluang pada kami untuk sertai program ini.
Terima kasih juga pada pihak Bukit Jelutong Eco Community Park kerana memberi tempat yang selesa untuk kami mengadakan program bersama anak-anak ❤️

We had so much fun creating this fine art!

Finger painting is the perfect sensory play activity to introduce the kids their ‘first’ painting experience. It stimulates all your child’s senses (Touch/Feel, sight, & smell) and also helps to strengthen the hand and fingers, which is great to develop fine motor skills. Be sure to have extra wipes or towel because it’s going to be really messy! 😜

Another fun activity that you could do by only using Tissue Roll!

Have you ever wondered why arts & crafts are very important for child development? Experts say it is the MOST IMPORTANT way to help them grow and develop well!

Here are 3 reasons why arts & crafts are important for child development:

1. Motor Skills.
When kids use their fingers to manipulate art materials, they are developing their fine motor skills as they use those muscles in their hands. The quicker their fine motor skills develop, the more they can do things on their own such as eating independently, taking off their own clothes and much more.

2. Creativity.
Arts and crafts allow kids to develop their own creativity. Kids can express their feelings through art. It also fosters mental growth in kids by providing opportunities for trying out new ideas, new ways of thinking and problem solving.

3. Self Esteem.
Arts and crafts give kids a sense of achievement. That allows them to take pride of what they create and build, which help them to build their confidence. Praising their art work also help them with their confidence as well. Don’t forget to give them tons of appraisal! 😜
