A meaningful 2-day journey filled with , , and .

Together, we shared knowledge and experiences — from the foundations of children’s palliative care, communication with children and families, understanding grief and recognizing their needs, to hands-on sessions in basic physiotherapy, nursing care, and end-of-life care.

We closed with an important reminder on self-care — because to care for others, we must also care for ourselves.

Along the way, new friendships were formed, and our volunteer community grew stronger. 💛

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐂𝐇 𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆
“Every piece matters — Together, we make every moment count.”

It all began on 1 April 2023 —
a small group of volunteers gathered in a café with Dr Lee Chee Chan, sharing an idea to support children and families in need.

On 2 March 2024, it became reality —
MCH KLANG was officially launched to provide hospice and palliative care for children with life-limiting illnesses.

And today…

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 — 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

We recently came across a meaningful video from a children’s palliative care centre in Germany.

It gently explains why some children need palliative care — and how families can find support as they navigate one of the most difficult journeys in life.

Because when a child is seriously ill, it is never just about the illness.
It is about supporting the whole family — emotionally, physically, and through everyday moments. 🌿

We often want to help by saying the “RIGHT” thing.
