🚑 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗼 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 🚑
Emergency situations like finding someone unconscious require immediate action. Here are the essential steps you can take to help the victim:
1. 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 🛑
Make sure the area is safe before approaching the person. Stay away from potential dangers like traffic, fire, or electrical hazards.
2. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲
Try talking to the person or gently tapping their shoulder. If there’s no response, move to the next step.
3. 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 📞
Immediately call the emergency number (999 in Malaysia) and clearly report the situation — your location, the victim’s condition, and any other important details.
4. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴
Place your ear near the person’s mouth and look for signs of breathing. If they’re not breathing, begin CPR right away.
5. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗣𝗥 (𝗜𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱)
Place the heel of your hand in the center of the chest.
Push down hard and fast — about 100–120 compressions per minute.
Continue until help arrives or the person starts breathing again.
6. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀)
If the person regains consciousness, lay them in the recovery position to keep their airway clear and prevent choking.
7. 𝗗𝗼 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺 𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀
Stay with them and monitor their condition until paramedics or emergency responders arrive.
