👓 Misi Kemanusiaan St. John Ambulans Selangor: Sinaran Baharu untuk Mata! ✨

​St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor dengan sukacitanya mengumumkan kejayaan penyerahan cermin mata kepada penghuni-penghuni yang memerlukan di beberapa pusat jagaan. Inisiatif ini adalah sebahagian daripada usaha berterusan kami untuk meningkatkan kualiti hidup komuniti melalui penjagaan kesihatan dan kebajikan.

​🗓️ Sesi Pertama - 26 Oktober 2025
Kami berkesempatan melawat dan menyerahkan cermin mata yang telah ditempah khas kepada:
​Pusat Jagaan Anak-anak Yatim Ulu Nuha
​Rumah Ozanam, Petaling Jaya

​🗓️ Sesi Kedua - 1 November 2025
Misi diteruskan dengan penyerahan cermin mata kepada warga emas dan anak-anak:
​Rumah Orang Tua Sungai Way
​Yayasan Anak-anak Yatim Wardatul Jannah

​Terima kasih diucapkan kepada para sukarelawan, penderma, dan rakan kongsi yang telah menjayakan program ini. Sumbangan anda bukan sahaja memberikan cermin mata, tetapi juga menghadiahkan penglihatan yang lebih jelas serta keceriaan buat mereka.

​Kami berharap dengan adanya cermin mata baharu ini, para penghuni dapat menjalani aktiviti harian dengan lebih selesa, sama ada untuk membaca, belajar, mahupun berinteraksi.

St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor extends a massive thank you and a hearty salute to our dedicated Officers and Members from Kawasan Selangor Selatan and Kawasan Selangor Barat!

​Your commitment to the spirit of 'Service for Humanity' was truly evident as you travelled to support our counterparts, St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Melaka, for their recent Health Carnival at SK Taman Merdeka, Melaka.

​The collaboration and unwavering support shown to our fellow Melaka volunteers ensured the event's success in providing essential health and first aid services to the local community. It is through such state-to-state cooperation that the SJAM family grows stronger and our reach expands!

​A special word of appreciation also goes to the main organiser, Pejabat Ahli Parlimen Kota Melaka, for their commendable initiative in hosting this important community-centric event.

We are thrilled to mark a major milestone: the 25th deployment of the St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor Ophthalmic Care Unit!

​Today, we were at Dewan Beringin, Seksyen 24, Shah Alam, bringing essential eye care to the community.

​A total of 28 residents from B40 families were screened, and we are proud to announce that 24 individuals will receive FREE spectacles to help them see the world more clearly! 👓

​A project of this scale is only possible with incredible partners. A HUGE thank you to the organizers for inviting us and for their unwavering commitment to community welfare:

We're standing in solidarity with our neighbours in Northern Perak! 🤝

​Yesterday, St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor successfully completed a relief effort, surrendering essential necessities to our dedicated comrades at SJAM - Northern Perak Area. These items will be distributed directly to flood-affected communities, providing much-needed comfort and support during this difficult time.

​This vital mission would not have been possible without the incredible generosity and community spirit of 99 Speedmart. A massive thank you to 99 Speedmart for sponsoring the necessities items and supporting the logistics to ensure the relief reached our comrades safely and swiftly. Your commitment makes a real difference!

Yesterday, our dedicated volunteers visited SMK Bandar Puchong Jaya (B) to provide essential eye screening for students. A total of 30 students were screened, and we are pleased to share that 24 students will be receiving free spectacles to help them see clearly and focus better on their studies!

Caring for Our Seniors: 23rd Ophthalmic Care Unit Deployment!

​St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor is proud to share the successful 23rd deployment of our Ophthalmic Care Unit, which took place yesterday, 18th October 2025, at Bait Al Mawaddah, Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Lembaga Zakat Selangor Ulu Yam!
​
​Our dedicated team had a busy day, ensuring our seniors received essential eye care:
​Total Residents Screened: 33 precious seniors received a thorough eye examination.
​Free Glasses Given: A heartwarming 22 residents will receive free spectacles to improve their vision and quality of life.
​
​A huge thank you to our incredible partner, Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital (THONEH), for their invaluable support in providing free cataract screening during this deployment. This collaboration is vital in detecting and treating serious eye conditions and ensuring our residents get the follow-up care they need.
​
​We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Benny and friends for their kindness and generosity in sponsoring the delicious meal for the residents and volunteers. Your support truly brightened everyone's day!

A Clearer Future: Free Glasses Distribution Update! 👓🌟

​St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor is thrilled to announce the successful distribution of free spectacles, bringing clearer vision to hundreds across Klang and Petaling Jaya!

​This initiative is a direct result of our ongoing commitment to community health and through the efforts of our Ophthalmic Care Unit.

​Distribution Highlights:

​🗓️ 25 September 2025 (Bringing Clarity to Students):
​Students at SJK (T) Ladang Highlands, Klang and SMK (P) Bukit Kuda, Klang received their brand-new, prescription glasses. We wish them all the best in their studies!

​🗓️ 2 October 2025 (Caring for Residents):
​The deployment extended to the children and residents of Rumah Hope, Paramount, ensuring they have the visual tools they need to thrive.

​🗓️ 5 October 2025 (Caring for Our Elders):
​We had the privilege of distributing glasses to the elderly residents at Pusat Jagaan Persatuan Warga Emas Klang, helping them to enjoy their golden years with better sight.

​Thank you to our dedicated volunteers and partners who make these moments possible. Every pair of glasses distributed is a step towards a healthier, brighter future!
