Such an annoyingly simplistic quote but it still serves as a good reminder to polish our gratitude attitude!

Yes life is full of challenges, and some days the hardships and obstacles are beyond what we can handle... yet, when we practice to see things with that pair of lens we once had, but somehow lost somewhere along the way, we will see that there is always something each of us can be grateful for. And it's right here, right now. Not in the painful past or the projected future, but at this very moment. So what we can do is learn (either on our own or with people who can guide and support us), to recognize these blessings and align our center to the good life again... 🧘‍♀️✨🧘‍♂️

Hey you, listen...

Standing up for yourself and saying NO to something that does not sit right with you is not a crime.

Saying NO to anything or anyone that violates your rights does not make you a difficult person.

Expressing how you feel does not make you an overly sensitive person.

Going against "the norm" does not make you egotistical and selfish.

Standing up and speaking out for yourself is what "being real" is about. It is about you honoring yourself and being kind to yourself. It is You taking care of YOU and the ones you love.
