My relationship with the airport has always been a funny one; so many times I’ve been caught off guard with some of the do’s and don’ts that it honestly gives me ‘PTSD’ every time I need to fly ✈️ especially when I’m alone.

My experience today was no different. I actually booked 4 separate flights to avoid having to ‘transit’ only to find myself in the exact situation 😂.

Upon check in, I was told by a very nice stewardess that my luggage will be arriving my final destination (Busan) before I do. And I’ve had only brought 2 very little bags with me 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I kinda need to live off what’s in my handbag for a day.

Under my old normal circumstances, this is when I would have completely freaked out and thought the ENTIRE trip has already been ruined.

To my own surprise, I actually laughed at it with the stewardess, pivoted and just went with the flow.

Every time I look back and see how much space I have between triggers and responses now, it never fails to amaze me how much I have grown.

I love that I am a lot lighter these days, a lot more undisturbed by some of the day-to-day matters and that I can just let things go.

It frees space within my body and around me, and I can enjoy my life so much more! On top of that, it’s always great to know how little I REALLY need to live 🤣.
