Anak nak masuk darjah 1…
Tapi yang paling nervous sebenarnya siapa?

Anak ke…

Atau parents yang overthinking? 😂

“Nanti dia boleh adapt tak?”
“Jumpa kawan okay tak?”
“Teacher garang ke?”

Anak excited dengan beg baru,
parents p**a risau serba-serbi.

Yang penting praktis dulu sebelum sekolah buka.

Normal je, mama papa.
Kita nervous sebab kita sayang ❤️

Siapa yang tengah rasa benda sama?

Not all milk is the same 🥛

What’s added makes the difference❗️
Choose options with no added sugars and choose lactose as the main carbohydrate👦

Read the label 📄 Choose wisely for your child’s healthy growth and development ✔️

“Doc… anak saya ni slow ke?
Atau dia cuma lambat sikit?”

This question sits quietly in many parents’ hearts.

Here’s the truth.
Not every child who develops later has a problem.
And not every child who is “slow” needs to be rushed.

What matters more than speed is progress.

Is your child:
• Slowly improving?
• Trying to communicate?
• Understanding more than they can express?
• Engaging with you?

Those signs matter more than comparisons.

But there are moments we shouldn’t wait.
And getting clarity early is not panic.
It’s protection.

There’s no such thing as one perfect burping position 🤍

Every baby is different and what works for one may not work for another.
Don’t stress about doing it “the right way.”

My own preference is burping baby on your lap, where you can clearly see their face and cues 👶
It helps you stay connected and respond gently to what your baby needs.

Why burping matters?
Trapped air can make babies uncomfortable, fussy, or unsettled after feeds.
A good burp can bring big relief.

And most importantly, “PATIENCE” is key.
Give it time.
5–10 minutes of gentle tapping or rubbing is often all it takes ✨

You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re learning your baby 🤍

She chose kids over bones 🍼

“Why babies and not bones?”
Valid question tbh.

29 years apart.
One curious son. One mom who chose kids.

Different generations, same heart.
No lectures. Just real talk.

So why do kids lie when we literally SAW them do it?
Their brain is panicking. Even when you say “I won’t marah”, their 3-7 year old brain goes: “But what if?! DENY EVERYTHING!”

The part yang control impulse and reality? Still under construction until 25 years old (explains teenagers too 😅).

What NOT to do:
❌ Call them pembohong
❌ Shame them

What WORKS:
✅ Stay calm
✅ “I saw you. It’s okay to tell truth. Let’s clean together.”
✅ Show them truth = ALWAYS safer

They’re not bad kids. They’re panicking toddlers with developing brains 💜

Drop your kid’s most creative lie below! Mine said “the wind ate my vegetables” 😂👇

As 2025 comes to an end,
many parents are already thinking:

“What should I fix next year?”
“What am I not doing enough of?”

Here’s a gentler question.

What if 2026 isn’t about doing more...
but about carrying forward what actually works?

Connection.
Consistency.
Progress, not comparison.
Calm before correction.

You don’t need a new version of yourself for 2026.
Your child just needs you to be present, steady, and human.

Save this for the days you feel behind.

“Doc, kalau adults kena checkup every year, kids pun perlu ke?”

Here’s the thing 👇🏻
Under 2 (during vaccines):
Your kid is ALREADY getting checkups every vaccine visit! We check growth, milestones, feeding, sleep, semua dah.
After vaccines completed (2+ years):
YES, I recommend annual checkups to track developmental progress such as speech, motor skills, social skills, school readiness.

What they DON’T need?
Those RM500+ health packages with blood tests “just to check” unless ada family history or chronic conditions.

Bottom line:
During vaccines = Already monitored ✅
After vaccines done = Annual developmental checks ✅
Expensive packages = Usually tak perlu ❌

You’re not missing anything

“Doc... anak saya dah 3 tahun,
tapi sebutan dia mash tak jelas. Normal ke?”

This is one of the most common worries I hear from parents.

Here’s the thing.
Not every child with unclear pronunciation has a problem.
And not every “pelat” needs therapy straight away.

What matters more than how it sounds is:
• Does your child understand you?
• Are new words increasing?
• Is your child trying to communicate?
• Is there progress over time?

Many kids just need more exposure, repetition, and the right modelling at home.
And yes, you don’t need expensive tools to help them.

But there are times we should assess early.
That’s not to label a child.
It’s to support them sooner, when outcomes are best.
