For more than four decades, federally funded HIV/AIDS research has been a cornerstone of public health—fueling discoveries in prevention and treatment that have saved tens of millions of lives worldwide.

Today, that progress is at risk. Unprecedented funding cuts and project terminations threaten to undermine decades of scientific achievement and slow the momentum toward ending the HIV epidemic.

JOB OPPORTUNITY: RESEARCH COORDINATOR (COVID HCUB Study)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the day-to-day implementation of the study.

Organize and monitor data collection and data entry (using REDCap and EMR systems).

Serves as the liaison between funder, principal investigators, ethics committees (MREC, NMRR), and data custodians (UMMC, MySejahtera).

Prepare study-related documents. (example: ethics amendments, progress report, consent forms)

Assists in drafting project reports, publications, and presentation materials for investigators and stakeholders.

Record the materials and equipment uses for study etc: tablet, phone.

Monitors the project budget and ensures procurement and expenditures align with funding guidelines.
