Last weekend, we celebrated World Diabetes Day with a meaningful event dedicated to raising awareness and strengthening our community’s understanding of diabetes.
We began with a public panel discussion, offering practical insights on lifestyle, exercise, foot care, and early warning signs, empowering individuals to take charge of their health.
This was followed by a 1-day workshop for healthcare professionals, covering holistic diabetes management, diabetic foot and vascular care, and hands-on training, equipping clinicians with practical skills to better support patients.
These events also marked the launch of our Integrated Diabetic & Wound Care Service, providing patients with comprehensive, multidisciplinary support under one coordinated programme.
At Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, supporting those living with diabetes is a priority, and we remain committed to providing expert care and guidance every step of the way.

When it comes to prostate cancer, precision matters. Robotic-assisted surgery offers enhanced 3D vision, steadier movements, and greater control, especially in the deep, nerve-dense pelvic area where accuracy is crucial.
This means smaller incisions, less pain, faster recovery, and a better chance of preserving urinary and sexual function after treatment.
In this video, Dr. Sathiya explains why robotic-assisted surgery is transforming outcomes for men facing prostate cancer.
This Men’s Health Month, don’t wait for symptoms. Early detection and timely treatment can make all the difference.
