Upper body and spine movement(Fu Shen Gong Yao Song Du Mai) is an exercise found in the level 2 of Zhineng Qigong practice. It involves curling the spine slowly at neck (cervical) area, then at chest (thoracic) area and then waist (lumbar) area. The benefits of this exercise are: 1. Strengthens the spine as well as the muscles and ligaments of the back. 2. Strengthens the Tai Yang Pang Guang meridian and Du Mai meridian. 3. Helps to heal back ache and back related problems. 4. Prevents and Heals illnesses of the spinal chord, back and kidneys.
