Ranting Falls at Taiping. We took 5hrs total but it was at a slow pace to look at random stuff along the way. Also just laid on rocks at the waterfall for half an hour hehe. Total distance of the hike is arnd 8.5km, EG 418m but some parts of the trail quite rugged. Contact if you like to nerd out on plants during your hike!

Can't believe it's been so many years since I last came to Taiping! I tried to recall the places that I've been to but only remember Bukit Larut. Our brain capacity does have its limits after all, so hopefully by penning things down here, I'll get to reminisce this trip when I'm lao kok kok (old).

I need food recommendations if I ever come here again though. Anything also can! Malay, Cainis, Indian food all I eat.

Wah haven't done a public yoga class in a while. Sometimes I wonder if past students are still doing yoga hehe.

If you're around on 9 May and up for some yoga at the farm, come join this little escape that's just 30mins away from KL. You'll get to move your body, get a mini farm tour, pick some fresh corn and also nourish your soul with a healthy brunch. Can join alone or make it an outing with your friends and family!

Don't worry if you're new / haven't done yoga in a while, we'll take it slow. I want this practice to be where everyone feels accepted 🫶

Always happy to yap about exercising coz I'm curious what has helped others stick to it. It's also a reminder that I'm extremely priviledged to have more freedom to move, while others (especially the stay at home mamas with young kids) can be juggling many balls in their hands throughout the day.

Have you ever fallen off the bandwagon when it comes to exercising? Tell me what has helped you so that it can also help others too!

Every time I drop by Kuala Selangor it's to... EAT. Didn't know this nature park existed until this Raya coz I was adamant about getting everyone to move a little before makan hehe. It's quite well maintained by despite some bits of the boardwalk being closed. They're open from 9am - 6pm and charge a small entrance fee. Saw some silvered leaf monkeys for the first time! The paths are nicely paved so it's suitable for elderly and kids.

Had a short trip here and it really changed my perspective a little. I still love how rugged the Malaysian trails are but I can also imagine how it makes things inaccessible. A lot of these trails in Singapore are wheelchair friendly, and the well maintained handrails are great for the elderly (although I don't think the elderly need them lol they're all super fit from the daily mrt commute).

Just sharing some simple yoga stretches at the start or end of the day for those who are fasting. Also great for those who are just looking for gentle movements, on days where you're just too tired. As much as I love pushing myself, I've been through times where it feels difficult to just climb out of the bed and it's during those times when I'm happy to just move my body in simple ways.

If you've always wanted to try new things but feel too afraid to join those who have been doing it for a while, come join this outdoor rock climbing session! It will be one where we all have fun and a laugh or two while figuring things out along the way. There's no pressure to reach the top, and just like how I love hiking for the journey, I believe that enjoying the process of climbing is what's more important.

Hii! I'm doing a one-off beginner yoga class. It's been really fulfilling to see regular students get stronger over time, while building more confidence in their own bodies. As someone who used to never do any physical activities, I truly hope to see more people move. If intense classes feel a little intimidating, I hope this class will help you to start moving. If you've taken a long long break, I hope to see you in class too 🫶
