8th week now since we kicked off this community initiative for nearby residents over 65+ who are completely new to strength training.
Super low impact, non intimidating, we work with light weights and focus on the basics to help you get stronger and move pain-free and LEARN how to move independently.
Many at this age group tend to stick to just walking at the park, chairobics, line dancing etc which is great but they’re missing out on the benefits of a dedicated strength training routine.
Most are also already paying for classes elsewhere .. so the easiest way to get them started is to offer this classes at no cost for now (those who wish to pay are welcome to pay a RM99 monthly fee which I will re-use for the program, host a breakfast party, and promote the program to reach more people).
But for now there’s no obligation to pay. Training is free.
Class is 30mins (but we always end up doing about 40-mins ) and we meet every Tues and Thurs at my gym - I can keep this free for now as I’m volunteering my time and hope this picks up.
We started with 3, now we’re at 16 showing up regularly!
A short enrollment form needs to be filled up before attending your first class, link is in my bio (or DM us or whatsapp my team 011-37998750) - then my colleague will contact you with next steps and ensure you’re ready for your first class!
