👂 When should you get a hearing test done?

Adults should have a hearing test whenever there is a suspicion of hearing problems. Do not ignore persistent ringing in the ears.

Hearing loss can often be treated, and the earlier it is detected, the better the chances of regaining your hearing.

Protect your hearing by getting checked early.

Hearing loss is more than just missing sounds.

It can affect speech, language, emotional health and even cognitive function.

Untreated hearing loss has been linked to depression and an increased risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Recent studies show cognitive decline may accelerate when hearing loss goes unmanaged.

If you’re noticing changes in your hearing, especially as you get older, don’t ignore the signs.

Getting checked could protect more than your hearing.
It could protect your brain.
