Every November 14, we commemorate World Diabetes Day, first established in 1991 by the WHO and International Diabetes Federation โ a global reminder of the growing impact of diabetes on millions of lives.
This day marks not only the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, co-discoverer of insulin, but also a celebration of scientific progress, awareness, and collective care.
๐ฉธ This yearโs message: Prevention and management begin with awareness โ from blood glucose control to lifestyle, gut health, and kidney care.

Research highlights chromium, an essential trace mineral, for its role in improving insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism. Clinical studies (Anderson et al., 1997; Huang et al., 2018; Asbaghi et al., 2020) show that chromium supplementation can help reduce HbA1c by up to 1.1% within a few months โ especially with newer, highly absorbable forms like chromium-lactoferrin complexes.
โจ Letโs continue raising awareness, supporting science-backed nutrition, and building healthier communities โ one balanced meal, one mindful choice, and one patient at a time.
