Major-General H.R.H. Paduka Sri Sultan Al-Haj Sir Ibrahim al-Mashur Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Sir Abu Bakar,dilahirkan pada 17 September 1873 di Istana Bidadari Serangoon Singapura.Baginda merupakan putera tunggal kepada HH Paduka Sri Sultan Sir Abu Bakar Al Khalil Ibrahim Shah Ibni Almarhum Dato Temenggong Sri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim dengan suri keduanya iaitu YAM Encik Puan Besar Zubaidah Binti Abdullah.Dilantik sebagai pewaris takhta dan sebagai Tunku Mahkota Johor di Istana Besar Johor Bahru pada 23 Mei 1891.Selepas kemangkatan ayahandanya pada 4 Jun 1895, Baginda dimasyurkan di Balai Cengkeh Istana Zahrah Johor Bahru pada 7 September 1895 dan dinobatkan pada 2 November 1895.Antara pingat dan anugerah yang diterima Baginda adalah

Baginda memerintah selama 64 tahun dan mangkat di Grosvenor House, London pada 8 May 1959 dan dimakamkan di Makam Di Raja Bukit Mahmudiah, Johor Bahru.
