Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society MEMS is a professional member based medical organisation of specialists in the field of endocrinology and metabolism. Official website: www.mems.my.

e-Journal website: www.jmems.org Currently MEMS conducts endocrine courses annually for post-graduate doctors as well as general practitioners in various parts of the country. These courses are preceded by practical workshops such as those on thyroid ultrasonography and fine needle aspiration techniques. In addition to its dedicated local faculty, MEMS also occasionally invites international experts to these courses. MEMS also conducts joint meetings with international associations such as the Mayo Clinic, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), the German Endocrine Society (GES) and the Iranian Endocrine Society. MEMS is also able to conduct CME programmes and workshops on a regular basis throughout the country and it's annual congress (MAC for short) is well-known and an overly subscribed forum of education.
