Two years ago, Kichok aka the second Malaysian to summit K2, brought Marathonbaker with him to basecamp — a quiet but powerful gesture of support for a small local brand.

This year, the route offers exciting changes from last year. Recent landslides at Bukit Tokki have forced us to alter some parts of the route, due to the reshaped terrain and logging activities. Additionally, most of the paths at Bukit Pelindung are entirely new, promising a fresh and adventurous experience for all participants.

Brace yourselves—the trail remains as tough as ever. With grueling climbs, rugged terrain, and demanding stretches, this route will push you to your limits. Get ready for an intense and thrilling running experience that will test your endurance and determination, ensuring a race to remember!
