On International Women’s Day, it was especially inspiring that most of the advisors in the room were women including the global KOL Dr. Wendy Lee leading the discussions. Truly a celebration of women’s power in medicine.

Always a pleasure catching up with good friends and fellow surgeons. Looking forward to what’s ahead.

It was a truly memorable weekend in Hong Kong attending APAO 2026. One of the highlights was receiving the APAO Achievement Award 2026, alongside APSOPRS being honoured with the APAO Prevention of Blindness Award, a meaningful recognition for our collective efforts in advancing patient safety and care.

I was also privileged to chair the APAO Invited Aesthetic Session together with Dr. Hunter Yuen and Dr. Yip Chee Chew. I am especially proud of my visiting doctors, and , who presented a poster on phenyl and a free paper on SEAL respectively. It was wonderful to see the next generation contributing to the field.

This trip was made even more special by reconnecting with friends I had not seen for years, meeting new colleagues, and sharing memorable moments beyond the conference. Thanks to a new epicurean friends, I also experienced exceptional dining at Wing, Stellar House, and The Chairman, reservations that would have been impossible for me to secure on my own.

Grateful for the friendships, the conversations, and the shared passion that make meetings like APAO so meaningful.

A memorable weekend in Hanoi 🇻🇳 as APSOPRS and VSOPRS officially signed an MoU, alongside the inaugural meeting of VSOPRS. Honoured to speak and be part of this momentous milestone. Grateful to Dr Nguyen Thi Thu Hien and Dr Vu Queh Anh for their tireless dedication in making this meeting possible. Reconnecting with friends and exploring Hanoi was the perfect bonus. A great start to 2026!

So excited to finally share my pet project with you all! After years of hard work, my technique, Minimally Invasive Eyelid Lift (MINEL) has been published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ). Even better, it’s open access, so you can download the full PDF for free online.

It was truly wonderful to host Dr. Laxmi Manandhar from Lumbini Eye Institute and Research Centre, Bhairahawa, Nepal, who recently completed a one-month observership with me at BE Specialist Clinic.

During her time here, she dedicated herself to learning the principles and practices of eye aesthetics with the aim of establishing an eye aesthetic unit in her hospital. I deeply admire her passion, commitment, and vision to bring this subspecialty to her community in Nepal.

Wishing you all the very best, Dr. Laxmi, as you take this next exciting step forward. I’m confident you will make a meaningful impact in advancing eye aesthetics in your region.

Another fun and glamorous night at the Elogio Skin Health Gala Dinner ✨

Tonight felt a little extra special. I decided to get all dolled up, and to my surprise, I was nominated as one of the Best Dressed! What a sweet and unexpected moment. It was such fun doing a little catwalk to show off the beautiful dress, thanks to Runway Story 💃

Always a joy catching up with friends, especially those I haven’t seen in a while 💫

On a more serious note, what I truly admire about is their unwavering commitment to education. I’m incredibly honoured to receive the Educator Award. Here’s to continuing our mission to raise awareness and empower both doctors and patients through knowledge.
