Prince Court Medical Centre was honoured to participate in the inaugural Malaysian Society for Burn Injury (MSBI) Symposium, organised in collaboration with Hospital Kuala Lumpur. The event highlighted the importance of specialised, multidisciplinary care in improving outcomes for burn patients.​

At Prince Court, our dedicated burns unit and multidisciplinary team provide comprehensive care, from acute treatment to reconstruction and rehabilitation, supporting patients through every stage of recovery.​

Our Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Evelyn Hoh Yoke Ling, was invited to speak on “Post-burn Care in Burn Surgery”, sharing insights on advanced techniques that enhance long-term outcomes.​

Prince Court Medical Centre continues to shape the conversation on evidence-based weight management, building on the launch of our dedicated Weight Management Clinic last year.

Consultant General and Bariatric Surgeons, Dato’ Dr Tikfu Gee and Dr Lim Shu Yu , shared their clinical perspectives on what it truly means to lose weight right, focusing on targeting fat and addressing the biological drivers behind cravings.

In collaboration with Sin Chew Daily and Novo Nordisk, our consultants unpacked common misconceptions and highlighted how medically guided treatments can support more sustainable outcomes, through featured editorials, an on-ground event, and an engaging Facebook Live session.

For over a year, a 21-year-old patient from Timor-Leste relied on a breathing tube after a life-altering accident.

Hope came through Prince Court’s multidisciplinary team, led by Dr George John, Consultant General & Thoracic Surgeon, and Dr Muhammad Arif Sudin, Consultant Anaesthesiologist.

Together, they successfully performed Prince Court’s first Tracheal Resection and Reconstruction, a technically demanding, high-risk airway procedure.

Today, the patient is tube-free and on the path back to everyday life.

This milestone reflects our commitment to managing even the most complex cases through expertise, precision and seamless collaboration.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Shuba Srinivasan as Regional CEO (Central), IHH Healthcare Malaysia.
