After many months of hardwork, physio, sweat & enduring dry needling sessions, this guy brought home a humongous gold medal 🥇 and I got to wear it 😭 such a humbling & thrilling journey

Amaris keeps putting me back together. As an active jiujitsu competitor for far more than 10 years, I have persistent injuries, and now new areas beginning to creak, stiffen and pop in my shoulders, back and legs. Thanks to Amaris expertise, understanding and patience, I am still in the game. At first, I wasn't too sure that she could help. I have had many great brawny physios in the past whom I hoped could snap me back into place but ended up not being able to do that for me. Amaris uses her listening skills and technical knowledge to her advantage (and puts up with my never ending cries for dry needling, the most painful thing I have ever loved) Thanks Amaris!

📌Apply heat or cold therapy to the affected can help relax the muscles and reduce inflammation.
📌Gentle stretching exercises can help relieve tension in the neck muscles.
📌Constantly change your posture. Your next posture is your best posture!
📌Take breaks and move around every hour or so can help prevent muscle tension.

As the body changes during pregnancy, many women experience pain and discomfort in different parts of their body due to the hormones or posture.

What are some common issues?
📌Back pain
📌Pelvic girdle pain
📌Carpal tunnel syndrome
📌Mummy's hand (De Quervain's syndrome)
📌Urinary incontinence
📌Diastasis recti
📌Swelling
📌Sciatica

Although these are common issues, there are suitable exercises and other techniques to help relieve these pains to make the pregnancy more comfortable.
