人在世时，总有牵挂与未了心愿；离世之后，灵魂亦未必全然解脱。若执念未散，他们或许徘徊不去，无所归依，难以安息。
近日，一位命主因缘来到我处，为过世多年的父母寻求超度。在过去几年中，因种种原因未能举行一次正式的超度法会。经人转介绍而来，当她听到我准确述说其祖先的情况后，深感因缘已到，便决定为父母补办一场简单却庄重的超度仪式，并将功德回向双亲。
父母在世时，子女应尽孝；父母离世后，该做的功德，子女又可曾做到？
超度，不只是让亡者得以安息与解脱，更是为生者积累福德，延续感恩与善行。
这不仅是一份孝心的兑现，更是对中华文化中“慎终追远”的传承。
感恩，才是德；行德，才是最大的感恩。

Even in life, we carry attachments and unfinished wishes. In death, a soul may still struggle to let go—wandering without peace.
Recently, a lady came to me seeking a soul releasing ritual for her parents who had passed away years ago. Due to circumstances, she had never held a proper ceremony. After I accurately described her ancestors’ situation, she felt the time had come, and decided to hold a simple yet solemn ritual, dedicating its blessings to her late parents.
When our parents are alive, we show them filial piety. After they are gone, do we still fulfill what we ought to do?
This ritual is not only for the departed to find peace, but also for the living to cultivate virtue, gratitude, and love.
Gratitude is virtue.
Acting on it is the truest form of gratitude.
