A recent study by the Ministry of Health of Malaysia has revealed some surprising results. It found that four out of every five teenagers in our country don't get enough physical activity.
Dr Zaliha Mustafa, Minister of Health of Malaysia, has stressed how vital physical activity is for our teenagers. Regular exercise helps keep our bodies healthy and has many mental health benefits. It gives us more energy, helps us focus better, and reduces stress. Let's encourage our children to prioritize their physical health!
Together, we can make a difference! Here are some things you can do to encourage our teenagers to be more active:
โ๏ธBe a good role model: Integrate physical activity into your usual routine. Share your fitness journey with others and inspire them to join you!
โ๏ธEncourage outdoor activities: Encourage teenagers to spend less time on screens and biking, hiking, or playing sports outdoors. The whole world can be their playground!
โ๏ธPlan community events: Work with local organizations, schools, and community centres to organize fun and engaging fitness activities. Let's make staying fit a team effort!
โ๏ธSpread awareness: Use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to share the benefits of an active lifestyle. Share success stories, fitness tips, and uplifting quotes to motivate our teens.
Let's raise awareness regarding the lack of physical activity among teenagers. Together, we can empower everyone to lead healthier lives!
