Although yin and yang are separated, love and care have never been cut off. At the moment of the funeral, we held up this "oil paper umbrella", not only following the ancient etiquette, but also a heavy request:

"This journey is far and windy. May this umbrella cover you from evil spirit, guide the light, and protect you all the way." 🙏

This special umbrella hides the unique Chinese understanding of death - it is not only the end, but the beginning of another journey.

Today, as Life Planners, we accompanied our client with dedicated guidance and attention to detail in fulfilling their beloved mom’s 100 Days Prayers and meaningful “house-warming” ceremony at Nirvana Memorial Park Shah Alam. 🙏

Why 100 Days Prayers matter
In traditional belief, the first 100 days after passing mark an important transition for the departed soul. Prayers and merits offered during this period help guide the soul toward peace, clarity, and a favourable onward journey, while bringing comfort and reassurance to the family.

Offerings — each carrying heartfelt meaning
🍍 Pineapple – prosperity and auspicious beginnings
🍵 Tea – respect, calmness, and gratitude
🍎 Fruits & kueh-muih – abundance and sweetness
🍚 Rice & mom’s favourite dishes (including acar) – love remembered, care continued
🌸 Fresh flowers – purity, remembrance, and grace
🪷 Wong Sang Qien (paper offerings) with 3 lotus flowers – purity, enlightenment, and spiritual guidance
🎁 Treasure box of daily necessities – wishing her completeness and comfort in her new home
🚘 A brand-new Alphard with chauffeur – dignity, ease, and smooth journeys ahead

Buddhist chanting was conducted to dedicate merits, calm the spirit, and bless both the departed and the living.

May the departed soul rest in peace, be free from worries, guided by wisdom and light, and continue her journey with serenity and blessings. 🤍
