In a nutshell on why someone falls sick frequently:
1) poor gut health
- frequent antibiotics impairs gut health and immune system
-eating too much unhealthy food that causes inflammation in gut
-erratic meal timings/ skipping meals
-high sugar foods and processed food
-high stress
*Tip: take probiotics, lunch by 2pm, dinner by 8pm, eat a balanced diet, limit caffeine and no coffee on empty stomach, high protein breakfast (do not skip!)
2) poor liver health
-too many medications and too frequently (depending on meds every time when fall sick and not doing anything about prevention and treating root cause)
-Sleeping late
-high stress
*Tip: take Milk Thistle & Dandelion Root extract supplement and sleep by 10-11am latest/ drink at least 2-2.5L water a day
3) Exercise and move your body
-Cardio + strength Training : at least 3 times a week, each time minimum 30 mins. If you can do alternate days or daily even better. Your body is created to be mobile and move, not to be stagnant and inactive.
4) Chronic stress
-emotional distress
*Tips:
-identify problems/ triggers and do not run away from them. Get help if needed. Do not suppress emotions or accumulate- all these will cause chronic inflammation and health problems/psychological issues in the long run and reduce immunity.
-reduce workload
-speak up and have healthy communication
-healthy boundary setting
-stop people-pleasing
-gratitude journaling
-supplements that can help to reduce stress & inflammation, regulate nervous system & improve sleep quality: Ashwagandha, Magnesium glycinate
