PRINZ Medical Clinic is a new solitary general practice clinic which is fully owned and managed by two doctors – Dr Nadia Binti Ladin and Dr Amirul Nazri Bin Wan Nawawi. Owing to the greatest passion they both share in the evolving field of medicine and its ever-challenging practice, the emergence of this healthcare centre is no longer a dream but has become a great responsibility to both doctors as they crave to provide the best medical care more than the level of standard that most typical old-fashioned general practitioners can offer. Dr Nadia Binti Ladin graduated in Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) in 2007, where she is originally from. She underwent her housemanship training in several departments of Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Baharu including Internal Medicine, Surgical, Paediatric, Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Orthopaedic and Urology. However, her interest in family medicine developed when she managed Out-Patient Unit in government polyclinics for 5 years in Kuching from 2009 to 2013. She is well-versed in managing obstetrics and gynaecological cases, and has performed more than 40,000 Ultrasounds throughout her posting in Maternal and Child Health Clinic in government hospitals and clinics. Throughout the years of treating acute and chronic illnesses, she has come to realise that being the frontliners or the gatekeepers such as general practitioners is of great importance because not only that early detection is life-saving, being skillful and a friendly doctor makes a whole lot of difference when it comes to patient management and compliance. She believes that patient education is just as important as treating the illness itself as prevention is always better than cure. At present, Dr Nadia has extended her studies in Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine in February 2014 at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and is on her second year persuing her Masters Degree in Science of Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Aesthetic Medicine at UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur. Dr Amirul Nazri Bin Wan Nawawi obtained his Doctor in Medicine (MD) from the Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine in 2009 under Yayasan Terengganu Scholarship Programme. On completion of his housemanship training for 2 years in SultanahAminah Johor Baharu, he was offered a post as a resident medical officer at the Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit where he trained for a year before being transferred to Orthopedic Department at Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah, Muar in 2011. His surgical skills are not limited to major orthopaedic operations and procedures, it has expanded to more of a delicate surgeries involving the eyes after he spent one year at the Opthalmology Department, Hospital Ampang in 2012. Apart from his vast experiences working with the government hospitals, Dr Amirul Nazri has worked with a number of clinics and hospitals from the private sectors namely Lourdes Hospital Kuala Lumpur, KPJ Tawakal Kuala Lumpur and Pantai Hospital Air Keroh Melaka as the Emergency locum doctor. On top of his impressive resume as a young medical doctor, his stylish personality and talent in hosting has made him the face of ASTRO to co-host a 12- episode medical documentary TV production called “ Sebelum Terlambat” alongside Dynaz Mokhtar as the main host, in which will be aired on Astro Prima in 2015. His vision with PRINZ Medical Clinic is to practice new approach to patient management by making use of the IT-technology to aid in patient education, bringing the standard of healthcare providers in Malaysia at par with what is offered internationally. - Extensive and comprehensive laboratory tests – sent to GRIBBLES
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) to rule out heart attack
- Asthmatic treatment including peak flow measurements and nebulization
- Blood withdrawal for Full Blood Count(FBC) for dengue screening – results immediate
- Ultrasound 3D/4D- gynecology, obstetrics, abdomen, thyroid, breast etc.
- Paps Smear, Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) insertion, Implanon insertion
- Sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment
- X-rays will be carried out at associate X-ray centre, results will be obtained and reviewed by our medical officers
