This Christmas, our children discovered that gratitude - pausing, reflecting and expressing thanks to those who care for us - makes this season brighter and hearts warmer.

They thanked their very own Secret Santa for the surprise under the tree, but also learnt that Christmas is not just about gifts. 🎁

Our Christmas morning assembly highlighted ‘The Power of Thank You’, during which the children:

- showcased their gratitude artwork to bring home to their loved ones
- ⁠expressed appreciation to their teachers and friends for their care
- ⁠recognised kindness via the story of ‘The Giving Snowman’ by Julia Zheng - a kind snowman gave away each part of himself to help others in need one cold winter and how they worked together to stop him from melting away after

From craft time to story time, we are reminded that recognising kindness and saying ‘thank you’ from the heart is one of the most beautiful gifts we can give. ❤️

Behind the scenes: What you see on ‘stage’ for every big or small school event is the result of countless unseen hours. Behind every detail, there’s dedication, teamwork and lots of thought, from the children and the team!

As school is almost out for 2025, we are all reminded of every lesson, challenge and smile that led to this moment.

We learned, we laughed and we grew, what a journey it has been for us all!

Grateful for yet another year of unforgettable memories.

Continuing our newly added tradition of value learning through celebrations, our “Together, We Shine” Children’s Day highlights how friendships allow us to experience joy and belongingness.

Through play and shared experiences, we learn the importance of taking turns, unity and teamwork.

We also learn to understand that our friends may sometimes want to do things differently, and allowing everyone to share their different ideas, thoughts and ways are as important too.

Helping and supporting each other through these differences is the true meaning of friendship!
