One user paid RM4000 for a pair of Hoya multifocal lenses but not comfortable. He visited us yesterday for consultation if he could have a pair of usable multifocal specs. He was pleasantly surprised that we charge RM1000 (ranges from RM750 to RM5000 plus). We are confident he will be happy with his vision.

A 1st time patient was rather shocked that we could identify his cervical spondyloysis disorder after a brief consultation. He found it baffling for an optician to make such a firm diagnosis on a condition seemingly unrelated. Happily it does. We prescribed a pair of specs with the expectation that his cervical severe discomfort will be reduced considerably.
Follow up in 2 weeks will reveal the outcome.

We encountered 2 cases who cannot use their new multifocal lenses and subsequent visit to their shop could not resolve the issues.
We identified the issues and advised them to have it corrected at their respective optometry outlets.

The cardiologist was given a frame that is ill fitting for Multifocal lenses and he struggles to see his computer. The best brand or the expensive lenses or the best prescription (power) does not provide comfortable vision if the frame choice is not correct.
We have rejected cases when users do not agree on our advise. Vision for health is paramount , not the appearence.

Suffering from dizziness and occasional headache has plagued this 65 year old lady and she has consulted various medical specialists with no apparent cure. She does not have cataract or other eye issues other than reading glasses. We discovered the root cause of her condition is the incorrect use of her reading specs. We advised her to remove the specs if she is to see beyond 2 feet.
Simple solution yet not identified earlier.

The owner of this pair of spectacles paid over RM4000.00 but has vision problems that could not be resolved. She consulted ophthamologist to no avail. We are pleased to identify the issues, part of which is the lens coating has cracked, after an exhausting 30 minutes. Visual health is often taken for granted but this patient has gone to great length to seek comfortable vision. We are thankful for the opportunity.

Why didn't we sell her a new frame but instead was recommended to retain her old frame.
What is usable and nice should be valued.

A medical doctor has frequent acute headache over some weeks without realising the root cause is her vision. A most rewarding outcome now that her headaches is reduced significantly.(she has to manage her job stress)
Vision for health is not the same as vision to see clearly.
