According to the International Diabetes Federation, diabetes continues to rise at an alarming rate worldwide, and Malaysia remains among the countries most affected. Even more worrying, many cases are diagnosed late — when complications have already begun to impact lives.

The long-term complications — heart disease, kidney failure, vision loss, and amputations — are preventable with early intervention, research, and sustained public awareness.

As a nation, we must align with the initiatives led by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and continue strengthening prevention, early screening, and evidence-based treatment strategies. Research and innovation are critical pillars in this fight.

The Story Behind Verdure Dew & Verdure Soothe

Every meaningful product begins with a question.

For Proliv, the journey started not with packaging or trends, but with research.

Through a competitive research grant, Proliv was qualified to conduct preclinical studies on a standardized, plant-derived herbal extract—a decision rooted in our belief that tradition must be validated by science.

The findings were remarkable.
The extract demonstrated strong antioxidant activity, enhanced hydration, skin-barrier support, and exceptional wound-healing potential.

What began as laboratory data soon revealed a broader possibility: the foundation for a new generation of botanical skincare—effective, gentle, and evidence-based.

From these findings, two formulations were born.

Verdure Dew, a sunscreen moisturiser designed to protect, hydrate, and strengthen the skin barrier.

Verdure Soothe, an anti-inflammatory cream developed to calm irritation, support healing, and restore skin balance.

The development process was anything but simple.

Formulation involved multiple rounds of trials and refinements to ensure stability, efficacy, and a sensorial experience that met Proliv’s standards.

Beyond the formulation, every detail mattered—product naming, label language, regulatory considerations, packaging materials, tube softness, cost constraints, and artwork—each decision shaped carefully within a limited budget but guided by uncompromising quality.

Sourcing the right soft tubes alone took time. Balancing aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and cost required patience and persistence. Production timelines stretched longer than expected, but every delay was met with refinement rather than compromise.

Today, Verdure Dew and Verdure Soothe stand at the edge of their arrival—nearly ready to be born.

They are not just skincare products.

They are the outcome of science, perseverance, and purpose—where botanical wisdom meets validated research, and where healing is not promised lightly, but proven thoughtfully.
